PropRetire Pty Ltd ("PropRetire", "we", "us", "our") operates the website propretire.com and the PropRetire property modelling application. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
Account information: Name and email address collected via Google Sign-In.
Portfolio data: Property details, financial inputs, and investor information you enter into the tool. This data is stored securely in Google Firestore and is private to your account.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and session duration for the purpose of improving the product.
Technical data: Browser type, device type, and IP address for security and performance purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the PropRetire service; authenticate your identity; store and sync your portfolio data; send service-related communications (not marketing without consent); and comply with legal obligations.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure (servers located in the United States and/or Australia). We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase App Check, authentication requirements, and Firestore security rules to prevent unauthorised access. No payment card information is stored by us.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with: Google (Firebase, reCAPTCHA, Maps APIs) for platform operation; AI providers (Anthropic Claude) only when you use the AI Analyser feature (property data context only, no personal details); and law enforcement where required by law.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@propretire.com. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google reCAPTCHA which may set cookies for fraud prevention. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
By accessing or using PropRetire ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

IMPORTANT: PropRetire is a property modelling and educational tool that provides general information only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial product advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional advice under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), the Tax Agent Services Act 2009, or any other Australian law. PropRetire does not hold an Australian Financial Services (AFS) licence.
All calculations, scores, projections, and outputs are illustrative estimates based on user-supplied inputs and publicly available ATO rates. They may not reflect your individual circumstances. You must not rely on PropRetire outputs as the basis for any financial, investment, or tax decision without first obtaining independent professional advice from a licensed financial adviser, registered tax agent, and/or qualified legal professional.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, PropRetire Pty Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any outputs generated by the Service. This includes but is not limited to investment losses, tax penalties, or missed financial opportunities.
4. Accuracy of Information
While we endeavour to keep tax rates, thresholds, and calculation methods current with ATO guidelines, we make no warranty that information is accurate, complete, or up to date. Tax laws change frequently. Always verify critical calculations with a registered tax agent.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, code, design, calculations, and materials on PropRetire are the exclusive intellectual property of PropRetire Pty Ltd and are protected by Australian copyright law and international treaties. Unauthorised copying, reproduction, modification, distribution, or use of any part of this Service — including reverse engineering of any calculation methodology — is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and/or criminal liability.
6. User Accounts & Data
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account with others or attempt to access other users' data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Prohibited Uses
You must not: use the Service to provide financial advice to third parties without an AFS licence; attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the Service; use automated tools to scrape or extract data; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
8. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
